Laurie Kotorman founded Mind Your Body Pilates in 2010.


A lifelong fitness enthusiast, Laurie started taking Pilates classes in 2000 as a way to prevent injury while marathon training. She quickly discovered Pilates' many other benefits including musculature balance, as well as increased mind-body awareness, core strength and stress relief. 


In 2007, her passion for Pilates inspired her to begin training as an instructor with Balanced Body University, one of the leading national Pilates educators.  

When not teaching Pilates as part of Mind Your Body Pilates, Laurie also teaches at:

  • Shelburne Field House in Shelburne, Vermont - Group and private reformer and mat classes (10+ years)

  • in Burlington, Vermont - Group spin/sculpting and barre/pilates classes (5+ years)

  • Various resorts internationally every winter
